Iraqi airways resume flights for the first time since March

The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced, Wednesday, the resumption of flights through Iraqi Airways for the first time since March.

In a statement received by AlghdeerTv, Minister of Transport Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli said that, “Iraqi Airways will resume flights from Baghdad International Airport to Rafic Hariri Airport in Beirut starting tomorrow, Thursday”.

“After discussions with the Lebanese side, it was agreed to start commercial flights between the two countries through two scheduled flights per week”, He added.

the statement declared that, “the Lebanese authorities have established health conditions for the incoming traveler to Lebanon, including the payment of 100 dollars for a PCR test in Beirut, filling in the form issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, as well as the possession of an insurance policy valid for the duration of his stay in Lebanon to cover the treatment cost, except for diplomats and members of international organization.
