The al-Abbas’s (p) shrine launches a project to clean the roads of visitors

The al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine has launched an extensive cleaning project on all pilgrims’ roads leading to Karbala, on its three axes (Najaf – Babylon – Baghdad), because of the great importance of this factor of the Arbaeen visit.

The project included several stages, the first stage was the organization of an extensive educational awareness campaign by publishing posters, posters and folders, all of which encourage attention to the aspect of hygiene, and urge the visitor to increase his interest in this aspect. And in an acceptable technical manner that contributes to achieving the desired objectives of this project.

The campaign also included distributing cleaning materials to processions and serving visitors, such as brooms, wipers, waste containers and garbage bags, in addition to conducting awareness campaigns for procession owners.
