World Cup Qualifications: Iraq beat Cambodia 4-1 to claim the lead

The Iraqi national football team beat his Cambodian counterpart 4-1 of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Iraq’s goals in the match that was held at the Muharraq Stadium in Bahrain were scored by Muhannad Ali in the first minute, Bashar Rasan in the 23rd minute, Ali Adnan from a penalty kick in the 27th minute, and Safa Hadi in the 93rd + minute of stoppage time, while Cambodia’s only goal scored in 54, signed by Soyway Vesal.

With this victory, the Iraqi team returned to the top of its third group with 14 points, followed by Bahrain with 12 points, then Iran with 9 points, then Hong Kong with 5 points, while Cambodia remained in the last place in the group with one point.
