Large security operations launched in northern Basra

Basra Operations Command announced on Monday the launch of large-scale security operations in the northern regions of the province.

The Command said in a statement received by Al-Ghadeer news, that “large operations were launched in the areas north of Basra and the city center, in addition to the revival of Abu al-Khasib.”

Adding, “The operations resulted in the arrest of a number of wanted persons according to various criminal matters, and the confiscation of light and medium weapons, various ammunition, and non-original wheels without traffic plates.”

“Good results have been achieved, and we are striving to achieve the best by maintaining the momentum in supporting inspections to limit arms to the state,” the Command said.
