Barzani receives Al-Halbousi and Al-Khanjar in Erbil

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Iraq, Massoud Barzani, discussed with a high-ranking delegation from the Sovereignty Alliance, the latest developments in the process

Barzani’s office said in a statement, that the latter “received today, Saturday, at his headquarters in the resort of Salah al-Din in the Erbil governorate, a high-level delegation from the Sovereignty Alliance, which included the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the head of the Sovereignty Alliance Khamis al-Khanjar.”

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged “views on the political situation in Iraq and the latest developments in the ongoing political process.”
