Iraqi joint force finds two ISIS tunnels south of Mosul

The Popular Mobilization Forces – PMF, announced, on Wednesday, the implementation of a large-scale security operation to track down the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” south of Mosul.

The commission said in a statement received by Al-Ghadeer News, “The Directorate of Medicine, Military Engineering, Armor Resistance, the Intelligence and Information Aide for the Crowd, the Intelligence, Operations, Communications, Media, Security, Brigades (25, 33) and the Special Missions Regiment of the Operations Command participated in the operation.”

Adding, “The force attacked in two axes, the first was for clearing and searching the Nuweket mountain range, where two tunnels were found and treated by the Engineering Effort / Explosives Directorate and the first regiment of the 33rd Brigade, and the second axis was for the search of ISIS’s warehouses in the depth of Hatra Island south of Mosul.”
