Iraq report 308 new coronavirus cases, five deaths in 24 hours

Iraq reported 308 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours, the Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.

The new casualties were distributed as:

Baghdad / Rusafa: 179 cases,
Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 94 cases,
Medical City: 1 case,
Basra: 6 cases,
Najaf: 1 case,
Sulaymaniyah: 7 cases,
Erbil: 1 case,
Dohuk: 1 case,
Diyala: 3 cases,
Kerbala: 3 cases,
Muthana: 5 cases,
Wasit: 6 cases,
Salahuddin: 1 case.

The ministry indicated that 5 new deaths were recorded, while 53 cases have recovered, as follows:

Baghdad / Rusafa: 7 recoveries,
Baghdad / Karkh: 25 recoveries,
Basra: 14 recoveries,
Babylon: 1 recovery,
Diyala: 6 recoveries.

The ministry added that the total number of infections reached 4272, the total number of deaths 152, and the total number of recovery cases 2585, cases under treatment: 1535.
