Iraqi’s House Speaker Receives The Canadian Ambassador.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammad Halboussi stressed the need for continued efforts of the International Coalition and NATO mission to support the Iraqi government to continue its war against terrorism and eliminate it, and provide the necessary intelligence and technical support for Iraqi forces.

During his meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Iraq Paul Gibard and Director of the Department of the Middle East in the Canadian Foreign Ministry, Shan Boyd, in the presence of representatives of liberated areas, he discussed the reconstruction of liberated cities and the return of displaced people to their areas.

For his part, Gibard, according to the Information Office of the Speaker of the Parliament, expressed his country’s continued interest in strengthening the relationship with Iraq and continue its support in all fields, and stand by Iraq, to achieve stability and sustainable development.
